If I read the language of Issue 1 correctly in Ohio, abortion would be written into the constitution of the state.
Proponents argue that this takes the issue of abortion out of the hands of state lawmakers, which apparently it does. It also takes away the rights of the father.
No where do I read within the amendment anything about the rights of the father of the child. It takes two to tango. The way I read this, the amendment gives full control to the female and absolutely zero rights to male who helped create the baby.
Am I understanding this correctly?
From what I can tell it sets no limits on anything. So, non physician performing, thats allowed, up to the moment of birth, thats allowed. No one else including the father gets to have a say, thats allowed.
