Trump brings up the 2021 valuation of the joint venture, but says he wasn’t really involved with it.

Trump says he was very busy as president.

“And just to refresh your recollection, you were not president in 2021?” Wallace asks.

“No I wasn’t,” Trump says, over-pronouncing the words a bit.

Jan 15 2021, Trump reinstated himself as a trustee and thus, the person who would sign statements of financial worth.

President of the United States

Trump's first answer was that he did not sign the 2021 financial statement because he was busy at the White House with Russia and China.

The New York lawyer reminded him he was not president in 2021 and he agreed.
