My question to this company would be WHY would this even be an available option to change an answer/check box/yes/no from what was selected by the voter? Obviously this is in their thinking a viable option to allow the tech/installer to configure!
They were threatened to do so.
If they don't include the backdoor, they will NEVER sell one machine or voting software / scanning package.
That's where all these "No-bid" contracts originate from.
