I've been through a couple sequestrations. It's a vacation for govvies. All the restaurants are full, bars are full, golf courses are full, people out doing stuff. Then they all get paid back for the time off.
Meanwhile, outside of DC, life goes on as normal. A national park closed here and there. Political moves like shutting VA hospitals down to pin it on the GOP.
I was thinking the other day...why do we even need lawmakers? Do we really need new laws? If anything we should be electing de-legislators to go through the 100K+ pages of USC and start shredding it.
I don't think we do need any more new laws, hell the ones that we have aren't enforced.
