Agents reportedly approached Adams, 63, on the street and asked his security team to step aside, one of the sources explained.

Adams may not be the target. The donations in question are from the Erdogan family. The opposition in Turkey are claiming the Erdogans used Adams to stash State funds in the USA. Biden, Blinken, and Nuland are currently unhappy with Erdogan.
