I'm a little conflicted on this.
Can't tell his rank, but he doesn't look all that old and is driving a BMW - appears to be an SUV.
I make a pretty decent living and as one of those "evil 50-something white dudes who are desperately keeping the society we built running", I can't afford a relatively new Beemer. Aren't these guys supposedly underpaid?
I mean, I guess I appreciate his service keeping the world safe for Pfizer and GloboHomo, but a tip seems like a bit too much.
OK, I'm being sarcastic. I don't begrudge the dude his ride and I do appreciate that service is a sacrifice, and at least some guys in uniform are patriots. Something rubs me the wrong way since I'm paying his salary already and indirectly I pay for all those little benefits and discounts for service. Maybe appreciation needs to go both ways and this tilts the scales way past that.
This. People already thanked me for my service when they paid for my degree and a couple of babies, and over half of the people in my basic training flight already received your thanks when they came in to trash talk you, your culture, your country, and their own military while you paid for their degrees while they forgo their own babies to teach incorrect things to yours.
Might be a rental, or his wife's ride. She might have a fat gig.
Or he got it while stationed in Germany? They used to give great deals when stationed there and then you get it shipped back to the States.
When I was stationed in Germany the BMWs were a dime a dozen. They are like FORDS in America. Blacks do get a nasty rash and ingrown hairs when forced to shave. So enjoy the joke as it was intended. Fun and funny.
