One story according to a pilot testimony at the Maxwell trial in a mainstream news headline that strangely never resurfaced again. So I'm guessing it was a bunch of crap.

More likely that it never resurfaced because it would bring attention to the flight logs - which would lead to people asking for MORE flight logs.
