Not at all, if you could use secure email. The concept would be easy to implement, I have applied for a patent in 2006. The returned it saying I must present a drawing and correct some other stuff. That would have required that I take a costly patent lawyer, so I kept my concept for all these years.
I even figured out a way, so no one can tell who is sending what to whom. I never published that.
The deep state is not interested in privacy. They want to know the person you uses an internet. or phone client all the time.
For the record, a patent is useless unless YOU have the $millions necessary to enforce it. A patent merely gives you the legal ownership of an idea, provided that there's no "prior art" (there usually is); it doesn't give you the money to prosecute anyone who infringes it. And if the infringement is by a multinational such as Microsoft, good luck sueing them!
