Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
metaphysics as taught by extra terrestrials was a weirdly necessary step in my acceptance of Christianity. if more people got aliens to teach them how stuff works, I think they would find religion to make a lot more sense.. and understand why so many choose Christianity.
it can be very difficult to break out of the materialist mindset. but teachings from a handful of unconventional sources made a very effective ladder for me.
low key sips tea cause i know someone got triggered by this. i'm still being sincere tho.
I think you nailed it. One big reason the Mexican prehispanic indigenous very easily accepted Catholicism is likely their encounters and learning from ETs
On the other hand, indigenous peoples who never met the ets never really accepted Christianity. Their societies also never advanced either where aztecs were way ahead of other north Amerindians

Personally, very interested in this. Would love to hear you elaborate on this.
one wall in the chat is enough for me for now. i'll send you basics.txt as a PM. if you like it I can send a thousand more like it in a like 10mb zip
Most interesting thing I've read all day fren.
As someone who has been recently turning to Christianity, even though I'm still very much into metaphysics... I'm Curious how one could find said extra terrestrials to be taught metaphysics?
Also, what bible version would you suggest? I've read some versions contain more esoteric knowledge, although I have yet to find one.
lolol sry for this absolute wall. hope someone's bored.
I wasn't brought up in any religion. My mostly absent father was against it, while my mother was neutral. but it was all secular and I didn't really mind. As I started to question more about the world, I too found myself increasingly against religion.
This distrust came around the same time as a deep dive into 9-11... As far as I knew, Christianity had been as good an example of corruption as 9-11 since it was cooked up in Rome.
At the time I had a good friend who was a very lukewarm Christian. I was determined to rescue her from this ancient evil brainwashing machine. But I didn't want to go in unprepared, so I read a bit of the Bible and studied its origins.
Of course, it didn't take me long to think I had found what I was looking for. I confidently said a bunch of nonsense to my friend that convinced her to further distance herself from the church.
But what really struck me was how much I enjoyed studying ancient religion and its origins and esoterica. I was excited but overwhelmed by all the new ideas I was encountering.
my deep dive into 9-11 had come about after I got spent a couple years down the quantum physics rabbit hole. but 2012 was coming up fast and I had to check wikileaks to see how the world was going to end.
from quantum physics to conspiracy theory to world religion to esoterica... all were necessary, all were humbling, and all were unsatisfying.
So when I encountered the Bible again, I saw it in a very different light. Having grown to respect several religions, my atheism was becoming very shaky.
The encounter was a particularly enticing verse framed on a friends wall. "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you"
and for the finishing move, I passed some graffiti that said "trust the universe". at that point I was ready to very humbly and sincerely pray for answers to whatever power it was that created me.
I prayed for answers, with absolutely no expectation on how or when they would come. Only faith that they would. and they did.
CHAPTER 2 LOL YOU GET A WHOLE MEMOIR
Nah. the rest of the story is mostly just sauce. Basically in my quest for esoterica I had saved a lot of random shit, like a good internet archiver. I didn't know what to do with it. I had been too busy feeling overwhelmed.
Until I was looking through a friends bookshelf and saw a book with a strange title by Jane Roberts. I remain a big fan of her work, and I know our dear fren u/rooftoptendie follows it even more closely. Through Jane I was introduced to an entirely new type of information.
Just kidding, this is a whole memoir. Because one of the reasons I trust this type of information is because of my work as a electroencephalography technician. I learned a lot working in that field, and have some pretty neat stories. but most importantly, it helped me ground this new information in a bit of reality.
but you didn't ask about tips from non-physical entities, you asked about aliens. so I will link a video that introduces that concept, and briefly covers the EEG evidence too.

this video doesn't really go into the relationship between this philosophy and Christianity. But the same source has spoken extensively on that topic. I have a pretty good .txt I can share on it.
as for Bibles... personally I stick to KJV or earlier. But... I don't really care about Bible 'codes' these days. I don't even have anything against gematria or even witchcraft or whatever... but the main reason these things are cautioned against is because they are subject to human error, while faith is not. Just pick a Bible you like, and read it.
Thanks for sharing your testimony fren. I have similar testimony. What it comes down to is anything with truth in it steals those truth from Jesus. So they can contain some truth but aren't founded in truth. This is why they left you empty because you kept seeking until u reached that conclusion. Jesus is the truth and he is our best friend and guide. Love you brother. Hope all is well with you
First read "Gods of the Bible: A new Interpretation..." by Mauro Biglino. It will help you to understand the ET relationship.
Thank you fren.
