I live in Texas and it was a big deal in the local news when they found and destroyed them. One of the tunnels came up under a house in a subdivision in McAllen Texas and the tunnel had lights. fans, and a train car of sorts. I think they found another just like it in El Paso. The Germans invented GPR a long time ago and I bet the Brits have it too.
Dipper choppers use sonar which is submerged in the sea, they are not good at all for land usage.
