This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.

I just lost ~20 pounds and I'm on the same boat lol
I lost the weight by eating only once a day 3-5 days out of the week, I get headaches some times, but the rest of the time I've been feeling better than ever. Staying busy with other people who don't eat has been the key for me. I eat as a reflex, as a way to get a "dopamine" hit. And if I'm with my foodie friends it's IMPOSSIBLE to not have a good time them.
Quit literally is an addiction, and I jus got a small support network lol
I know the struggle very well, but it can be done, just keep trying and never ever ever give up!

Once I fasted for a couple of days by eating only once, your stomach gets smaller and you get less hungry every day you succeed.
There will be days where you will just CRAVE, what I do is I EAT. properly that day, I will eat 2 meals next day, and then go back to 1. When I get the cravings and almst like a zombie go to the kitchen. I say to myself. (OK, I will eat, but in 10 minutes, not now, not when my body demands it)
Every few days I get the uncontrollable hunger, I just know that it will pass.
Learning how to cook was also awesome, not having to stand in line or spend my hard earned dollars on food that I can make at home with some garlic and some onion. I save time, I don't see advertisings in the restaurant.
I'm a food addict. Always will be.
