I would have thought honour is a very important issue for people who serve their country. It is not a light switch that can be toggled on and off like this. If vax-sane people got slandered and were told they were not fit to serve for not accepting the poison shot, surely they are not going to turn around and believe this kind of nonsense.
How can you stand at post knowing that the service itself was dishonourable, how can you fight for that service with pride - knowing how disgracefully they treated you.
When I read this letter I think:
a) they think very little of the people they sent this to, and
b) the people that sent it are desperate and really, really stupid
and I agree with magaphraust - there is a lot missing from this letter if they are to have any hope of getting their best back.
