Recent allegations? WE (I) knew the entire 'riot' was planned and directed by pelosi on Jan 6th. She screamed NO! at Trump when he offered troops to help, because they Would have Stopped the plan. She had a film crew there. She Ran for cover, 30 min. BEFORE the 'riot' started and had to return because it looked so bad. The ENTIRE 'riot' was to prevent the Fixed election from being discussed on the House floor, nothing else.

Major Gen. William Walker. But he didn't have the authority to just deploy them. The better question is who could have requested they be deployed BEFORE January 6 based on intel that suggested the potential for large numbers and problems and why didn't they. And that comes right back to Democrats.
