Oh my gosh! Yikes! Now I wish I hadn't asked. Thank you for explaining. No wonder she was so emotional. Her mom committed suicide. What a horror story. Who the H-E- double hockey-sticks do these people think they are? My gosh. What an incredible story. In retrospect, the parents should have taken her out of the hospital "against medical advice." Which is their right!! I can see why the so called authorities felt they had to step in - if they thought she was being neglected or abused, but this makes my blood boil. Thanks for the explanation, fren.
Evil. Well, I'm glad they won in court. I didn't see much of the video posted because I didn't know the back story. I did see the emotional response she and her brother had to the verdict. I'm not even sure what they won. Presumably some money and the affirmation they had the right to make their own decisions. Evil hospital, evil people. I'm so happy they were vindicated but sorry about their mom and everything else they had to endure. Strong people. Thanks again, fren.

My pleasure, they could not take her out against medical advise because they took custody away from the parents. They would not let the mom near her.
Watch the special on Netflix.
