OK. So to get this straight: The 'attack' was during the day, and the strafing happened at night. Which may actually point a finger at the IDF, as there is evidence that HAMAS members returned to their bases - they had no intention of staying out there - which is typical of a military raid.
But why were the concert goers not frightened away by the daytime attack?
