I'm in Dubai. We had few days of heavy rains overnight in the last week. Just like Las Vegas, parts of Dubai are concrete and asphalt, and if there is a heavy rain, water can accumulate.

One of my colleagues said there was some flooding in his neighborhood due to poor drainage.
