Put it all his bottles over the weekend and on his sores topically just once. It’s Monday morning and it’s like he never had it. Usually takes 10 days and it’s a nightmare.

Given that ivermectin is about as toxic as aspirin; and slightly leas toxic than toothpaste- unless you do something incredibly stupid (like eating multiple tubes of horse paste a day); I would say your anxiety is over done.
A “dowel is literally about the amount of toothpaste an average person uses to brush their teeth.
If you are sick, a dose a day for 3-5 days is all you need. As a preventative a dose every ~3 weeks should be good
