Really it's just joking around because of the series of coincidences being such a laundry list of things that gets discussed, and not really as much anymore as it used to be.
Surprised you don't criticize Blue Beam or Looking Glass instead, as those are discussed with more seriousness -- and for the former, is theoretically possible and as for the latter, humanity has created very, VERY small scale quantum teleportation so who the heck even knows in regards to that?
