Guys read the book How The Nation Was Won by H. Graham Lowry

He covers this entire saga, Franklin was essentially trolling these guys, he wrote letters under a pseudonym to them. He was no friend of them and the Jesuits at the time who were opposing the founders were all members and he knew that.

Be careful to jump to conclusions

Our founders were Masons but they had NOT been infiltrated by Weishaupt's Illuminati or the Jesuits yet.
