It sounds like this could have had potential to get rid of some bad apples & have the AI truly be a great open source option again that wouldn't be driven by agenda.
That said, maybe I am misunderstanding something as I havent dug in too deep yet.
Frankly. Unlike the bloated mess of Twitter. The majority of OpenAI staff at least according to some reports are actually useful and engaged in some facet of R&D. Improvement of existing systems. Or Bug fixing.
