Has anyone used Ivermectin or hydroxichloriquin or anything like these to treat chronic ear infections in a toddler?

He may need the tubes in his ears..
I had to have tubes iny ears as a young child in the mid 70s, it solved the constant excruciating pain. Might be something to look into. I think some kids just have the issue.
Be watchful. After 3-4 tubes in right ear I developed a cholesteatoma(sp) in my 30s requiring ear surgery 4 times and loss of all hearing on that side after middle ear bones were dissolved bc of the cholesteatoma.
What's with the ear infections never had one in my life
Oftentimes it is a side effect from vaccines and antibiotic use. You must restore healthy gut balance. I would also try ear drops with grapefruit seed extract
Some people are prone to them, some are not.
I had them constant, eventually even having them with pain no longer present. Extreme inflammation and allergies is what I assume caused them… Now they are okay now that I manage the allergies better as an adult, but the ringing remains :/
I hope Op hunts down something that helps, maybe their kiddo won’t have the long term affects I have to hear every night.
i had them quite often as a youngster. narrow ear canals. Not so much anymore but they are extremely painful.
