Please pray for my dad π

He recently threw out his back ( that part seems to be over for now which is good, specifically according to him that part is now over, it was more of his spine )
But now heβs having very bizarre and painful back-muscle-spasms/cramps. When it happens, he jerks his body around and starts collapsing to the floor.
Weβre all unvaxxed btw.
He needs an MRI. He may have a compression fracture of one or more of his vertebrae. This happened to my dad when he slipped and fell back on the stairs. X-rays showed nothing. His family doctor said he just had 'muscle or bone bruising' which was an incorrect diagnosis.
After the stairs incident, Dad was besieged with severe back spasms and kicking and thrashing, especially while attempting to sleep, causing him to fling himself off the bed onto the floor, further hurting himself!
I took him to the ER and demanded further tests. They gave him an MRI which showed several vertebrae as having compression fractures (collapsed into a smaller vertical size). Dad was very old and his bones were fragile I guess.
The solution was to do a kyphoplasty procedure where they inflate a balloon in the collapsed vertebrae to restore the bone height to its proper size, then an injection of a bone cement into the vertebral body, taking the pressure off the pinched nerves. It completely fixed the problem.
I wish you luck. Keep us posted!
I just showed him your comment and he says it sounds exactly like him, because he has Osteoporosis.
Thanks sharing and shedding light on his mysterious pain.
You are welcome!
This is great information...the addition of Vitamin D/K in the diet has greatly helped people to avoid osteoporosis. It helps to transport calcium to the bones. Knowledge is always power and this surely was valuable information for everyone..
