Sidenote: When a VERY large prospect was interested in doing business with my company, we were asked to come and meet with them. They asked for our vaccine cards to verify that we were all vaccinated (everyone in the company is based and not a single employee is vaxxed, nor their children)... I politely declined.
They then told me it was required to meet with them and to do business with them.
In writing I said "Go fuck yourself, that is our collective vaccine status"
I turned down a potentially life-changing financial deal based on principle. And I would do it again without question.
Your demonstration of your principles and leadership skills stand in stark contrast to most organizations and businesses today, where those aspects are in short supply. Wow good for you! I am self employed so it is pretty easy for me. No one even asked TBH. Although I did have to turn down a reunion lunch during COVID. "Don't look at me I'm HIDEOUS" unvaccinated status needed to be revealed. A "friend" of 20 years literally hung up on me LOL.
