The entire concept that we have some sort of "safety" on the internet, no matter what you do, is beyond ludicrous. They know literally everything about you. Everything. Just look up Recorded Future (a joint In-Q-Tel/Google project). It is literally The Machine from the show Person of Interest.
Funny thing about that. As it turns out, The Machine in PoI was turned on (within the canon of the show) on the same day the Recorded Future project started.
I'm sure that's just a coincidence.
A friend of mine who was very (SIS-3) high up at Langley confirmed that the tech in POI was 90% real at the time when it was on the air. I have no doubt we are well beyond that now.
Unfortunately I can’t say more about POI connections without potentially doxxing myself.
Of course it's real. I've written up a whole thing on Recorded Future, using mostly what they say themselves in their white paper and on their website. Coupled with some stuff from the Snowden leaks, as well as my investigation into the funders of those projects, the write up is comprehensive. The conclusion is obvious. There is no place to hide.
That's OK. I am unafraid.
It's also quite a freeing realization. While I'm not completely uncautious, I don't fret overly much about "security." Other than keeping yourself out of the spotlight of minor actors (who don't really matter anyways), there is just no reason to work harder than that.
Stay off the X, as it’s said. Don’t become a target.
Check out DARPA’s “unfunded” program called Total Information Awareness.
I’ll check out Recorded Future when I get a minute.
Thank you for that link. I'd guess TIA is a precursor to Recorded Future, using at least parts of the same software. Here's the white paper for Recorded Future. Their website is also well worth checking out. Notably their timeline.
