Here come all those mailings and phone calls again asking if you want to sell your home. In my area, there are more sellers than buyers (due to cost) and so those sellers will go for it.
That sounds like Heaven. The less the merrier for me.
I'm sick of watching farms and woodlands being bought up by developers and turned into the ugliest, mass produced and over-priced homes one could ever imagine...
I constantly hear from realtors asking if we want to sell our house. It's not on the market, and we've lived here for thirty years. The buyers are mostly people leaving high cost urban/urban adjacent areas. There are far more buyers than sellers, and houses are selling for hundreds of thousands more than just a few years ago. They're not buying in order to rent the houses out, they just want to live somewhere quiet.
That sucks. If there are any airbnbs near me, it's not obvious. Maybe my town has an ordinance against them. I hope so, but I live in a summer resort area, and I'm thinking the many hotel owners have done what they can to discourage it. Just like no food trucks because they take business away from taxpaying restaurants.

Midwest is where I moved. 2 years ago, there's very limited homes to purchase. Not sure right now.

Nut to butt apartment complexes.
Did you get a good mortgage rate?
no mortgage rate. I purchased it outright.
