I was a huge fan of metal for many years, and I cannot listen to it at all these days due to most of it being left-leaning crap. Not even the old-school stuff.

Not my cup of tea. I think my metal cup ran out around 1992-93 or so, around the time Korn and that nu-metal stuff appeared. I'm more into jazz, fusion, and old prog these days.
