Q made a statement that the children will unite the people. I am actually rather skeptical of this. I know images of fully developed aborted babies does nothing to change the hearts of the pro abortion bunch.
There are many children that have been taken hostage by Hamas and Pro Palestine people will tear these children's pictures from the walls.
On the other side, there are endless videos of crying injured Palestinian children shown on TV and I have seen many comments from the Pro Israeli side saying "they are not innocent. They are Palestinian. They should all be killed."
Sorry for my pessimism, but I feel the hope that images of trafficked children may ultimately unite the people seems a little naive. I'm hoping to be more optimistic about this, but my observation is that tribalism always comes in first place.
Hope someone can convince me otherwise.
I cannot think of a simpler way to separate the wheat from the chaffe, can you? God has the authority to judge them by their hearts. A person who cannot have compassion for a child, well, Jesus spelled that out pretty clearly what GOd "thinks". We are living in the time of judgement. I cannot think of anyone who believes in God, would have a cold heart regarding children suffering. There are plenty of Israelis who are protesting against the slaughter of innocents in Gaza and the West Bank. There are atheists who have compassion and empathy for children. Those who do not will not know the Kingdom of Heaven. I believe it will unite all. Once the evidence is shown, if there is person who does not care, or who enjoys the suffering, the millstone has been placed. Have Faith. Why is God allowing this? He is not, maybe in this time it appears as if He is, but God's time is eternal, not some construct we have in our heads.
