Beat me to it. This allows them to bury all Burisma and the C "whatever" firm behind the walls of an active investigation. Congresses Hunter investigations are dead in the water. Dec 13th public inquiry will now be the 5th party

Gee, almost like Congress should pass a law demanding that they should be mandated to be forthcoming and explicitly remove that argument.
As far as I know, there is also no strictly Constitutional requirement to withholding that information.
But of course, they dislike non-partisan uniparty politics.
