DARPA is deeply involved in BigTech. They pick the winners and losers and "privatize" the government research via startups and "IPOs".
They try to make it all look organic and push the trope that silicon valley makes the perfect avocado toast to produce the world's best tech entrepreneurs. They don't. They just want it to look organic and boost the wonder kinds.
Take Y-Combinator, a big tech incubator, as one example. More big tech miracles have come out of there than any other startup incubator.
Who are some of the alumni and contributors? Look at their list.
For years, led by Sam Altman who also runs OpenAI. Reed Hoffman, of LinkedIn and Epstein Island fame, is another.
Yup. And Facebook was DARPA life log. They give government tech to their insiders. These are all government public funded innovations. So many top execs at google use to be too darpa officials. Correct. China has zero independent companies. They are all controlled by the PLA.
