WEEEKLY CHAT - WEEK 49!
WEEKLY CHAT #49
OK, let's try the weekly chat idea, V2. Been hearing some positive comments! Seems like we have a winner! Give it a chance! Here goes! <3
Question of the Day: Top place(s) that you want to visit/ re visits?
Israel, Egypt are my top 2. Definitely wanna see the pyramids :)
My mom and grandma went to Israel there times. Each trip they took a side trip to a different country. Egypt was one of the countries. I think Greece was one and don't remember the other. A preacher they were life long friends with would organize the trips. She's been to many different countries but I believe Israel was her favorite because she kept going back.
Before the world went bonkers I always thought one day I'd go to Italy. Can't say why it's always intrigued me. I'd love to visit Scotland and Ireland. Especially Scotland it's part of my heritage. In the states I'd love to see the Grand Canyon.
I can't complain if I don't meet those goals I've had a great life traveling since I was a small child and even as an adult. It would be nice to go USA destinations with my husband and discover new adventures together. Over ten years ago I went to Hawaii and the volcano on the Big Island. I can't imagine seeing the Grand Canyon because the volcano seemed massive.
This is another one of those RTT type questions I feel unsophisticated for having no answer for...
I'm completely unambitious regarding travel, and my wife traveled extensively as a youth, so isn't all that interested either. Pretty content at home, on the porch, reading. Lol.
I'll say Ireland. Looks beautiful. But everywhere is beautiful; it's hard to choose.
Lol yes I'm trying my best to bring back that spirit of joy and connectedness that she brought with her questions.
Thanks for your very real and honest answer. Don't feel like you have to give answers. Rather know your honest heart with the topic then to have you make something up. I'm sure others would feel similar. Ireland does look very beautiful though
God bless you fren. Much love
You absolutely MUST see the pyramids before you die (or after—they're that good)! Ask me anything. I've been inside nine or ten pyramids, some even closed to the public.
Next place I want to visit is Peru. I want to see Sacsayhuamán and Ollantaytambo, etc. All these sites were the same civilization. Check out why I think that
I have read many of your comments on this very topic and can tell you definitely have learned a lot and it's a very passionate topic for you. Gonna watch the video you shared and will probably have a question or 2. The pyramid are a huge topic of interest for me.
u/CatsFive has gotten me into this stuff. If you want to go down the rabbit hole (way WAY better than the Rabbi hole) check out channels on YT like UnchartedX and History for Granite, and watch all the Graham Hancock / Brien Foerster / Randal Carlson stuff (on Rogan) that you can
Cats doesn't like Brien because he starved him out on a really bad tour, but I still like his videos
Ok thanks for the suggestion will definitely look into them. Appreciate the response. God bless you. Much love
