I don't necessarily agree one way or another, but there are a few facts that at minimum discount some of the claims (the constantly varying death count, the dubiousness of the gas chambers being used as..well, gas chambers) and most importantly of all:
The victor writes history. Without the number of citizen journalists we have today and the number of cameras on the streets, we rely exclusively on paid journalists and government entities for the information of what happened.
It is extremely convenient for various reasons to exaggerate and overinflate basically any and every metric from that war, and this weird notion that people are not allowed to investigate more deeply than the handfed narratives or else they themselves are literally Nazis is very much cause for concern and warrants a deeper look than what many give it.
See: The other person who replied to you. Immediately calling anyone who disagrees anti Semitic.
People may have very good reasons to disagree about what happened or its framing, but those criticisms are ALWAYS attacked with this argument which only adds fuel to the fire.
That's why we were summoned to DC on Jan 6th, without millions of extra uncontrolled cameras around the fake fedsurrection would only have had fake media footage.
