If you game this out there are some fascinating ramifications.
Consider that a lot of the bad apples we need to go after are former Presidents, or are being protected by former Presidents. Clinton's, Bushes, Obama's. If this decision goes against Trump, it also affects these families in the same way. A very dangerous precedent for them.
I think white hats may have gamed this out to a degree that they honestly don't care which way these court decisions fall. It's like that phase of the game where you know you have a check mate but your opponent doesn't quite realize it.
Also keep in mind Jack might not even want to bring this case.
Why would he risk his attack by doing this ?
Jack is trying to skip the court of appeals to speed the trial up. This makes me think the DS has given him a specific timeline he's trying to meet. My guess is that the SupCo will kick it back down to the court of appeals.
They want a conviction before next years election to keep Trump off the ballot.
