If you spot a mysterious red dot on your mailbox, don't hit the panic button just yet! In some areas, this seemingly innocent red dot is a subtle code among postal workers. It might mean your mailbox needs a repair, like fixing a loose hinge or a wonky door. It's like the secret language of mail delivery, a heads-up from your friendly neighborhood postie.

My mailbox is in shambles and I don't have one. Also, it's not the mailman's job to fix your mailbox.
