I was watching and I didn't run out of fuel, but it taught me to be always ready. Having the car 1/2 full of fuel is like having a few large cans of fuel stored, but much more convenient.
You can have large cans of fuel as well of course, but they will go out of date if not rotated and they may be hazardous or inconvenient to store. YMMV (kek)
In a fuel crisis, cans of fuel would be great for barter.
I just filled the car up just in case.
I can take a hint.
🙏🏻🙏🏻 Stay frosty and safe...
Thanks man!

How often do you fill up, in circumstances like this? 🤔
Hi fren
I have for many years made it a policy to never have the tank less than half full, even though it means dragging extra weight around.
In the UK in 2000 we had protests and a fuel shortage, Looking back, I expect that was engineered for some reason.
