A lemon and a cherry in a flute glass? wondering what it is. Interdasting!
A Manhattan has a maraschino cherry. Rye whisky and bitters. Quite good actually. We have it to toast a relative, R.I.P. But her set is of rounded high-ball / old fashioned glasses not flutes. Well this isn't quite a flute glass either . . .
It's a champagne cocktail - popular in the 20s and 30s. Put a sugar cube in the bottom of the glass, add two or three drops of Angosturra bitters, pour champagne over it and add garnish.

Thanks!
I think I'll leave the bitters to the Manhattans though.
Champagne?
Could be, but I drink champagne neat.
