I'm an alien skeptic, when I see a real one I'll believe them, but I really don't want to see one. I'm sure we aren't alone in the Universe, but doubt we are interesting enough to visit, nor nutritional enough to come light years to eat.
So far we have supposedly went to the Moon about 1.5 light seconds away, and the nearest stars are what? 4 light years away.
I have a cousin who has lived on the same farm her whole life. When she was in her 20's, a ufo landed in their field, and she walked toward it, and before she could get too close, it flew off. Ever since then, for the past 40 years, she can't be alone. She's terrified of being alone, and relatives will drive cross state to be with her when her husband travels. She's afraid to be alone because the thing that scared her the most about her encounter, was that she wasn't afraid. As soon as the ufo left and flew off, she couldn't believe she had walked toward it, and wondered what the hell had come over her to make her compelled to get closer to it.
I knew a kid in 5th grade who used to hang out on his roof all the time. One night he saw a UFO and he was never the same after that. He became quiet and started obsessively drawing aliens and ufo's all the time.
Wow : the reason for her fright is profound ! Sounds like she saw something, there’s no telling her she didn’t , that’s for sure . Sad about the kid on roof . I saw something as a kid while in a above ground pool in a farm area in New Jersey . It was just there all of a sudden and flew up and disappeared, not away , up , just as fast as it got there . I don’t have either reaction though , mine is more of a “ oh yeah that time in the pool “ whenever I hear or read about the subject .
My cousin is a completely normal, rational, honest down-to-earth practical person in every way conceivable. Unless she has to be alone for more than a day or two. When she has people over to stay with her, she never mentions the ufo, not ever. Even though it's the whole reason she can't stay by herself.
That cousin's mother was probably born around 1920, and when she was a little girl, she almost climbed out her bedroom window in the middle of the night to go run away with the gypsies. Her father literally caught her by the ankle as she was climbing out the window. If he hadnt've caught her in time, they never would have seen her again.
And lately on the farm: GIANT WOLVES. Apparently according to my cousin's husband, they are definitely wolves, but just a lot bigger than they should be. Farmers have been talking amongst themselves about it, because no one believes them except other farmers that have seen them too.
Not much exciting happens on the farm, but when it does, whoa nelly.
Yeah, lets hope we find out. Your second example reminded me of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the star was obsessed with the mountain piling up his taters in an effigy.
Ok English teacher, kek. What's funny is I know that and still mess up. My sister is a retired libtard teacher. She taught Drama until 5-06 years before retirement, then stepped down for health reasons. She taught IB English and Film and some other IB class for those last years.
I hated English because I have vision problems and they had me write on extra large paper for the first few years. I do ok considering I dropped out of school at 14...

They're real, I just don't know what they are.

There were giant wolves mentioned in the book about skinwalker ranch. Are giant wolves gonna be a thing now?

Wow. What an interesting response your cousin had. To be unafraid and welcoming, then do all she can to fight that urge.
To ET's, WE are the aliens. They are beings that live on different planets. That's all.
Gone. It's "gone". We have supposedly gone to the moon.
