Wasn't Fred Flintstone a quarry worker who was struggling to maintain a middle class lifestyle? I don't know much about the Freemasons, but he never came across as being part of any 'elite'.

I think all the organizations that require secrecy are up to no good and the masons are no exception.

By my grandpa was a mason and he was the best guy ever. He didn't rise in the ranks though, I think he was a grundoon level.
