The word for “world” there is “Kosmos” (cosmos/universe).
Were those understood as different back then? What did the authors intend to convey?
The Bible is quite clearly all about Mankind, not alienkind.
That’s like saying “because the Bible is about humanity it doesn’t speak about angels/messengers.”
Firstly, the Bible is completely centered on Mankind.
Secondly, It is unreasonable to compare humans and any other created thing, due to the uniqueness of humans.
Following this, it is unreasonable to assert that a comparable species to Mankind exists living on other planets.
There isn't a shred of evidence that there exists a comparable species to us. The angels aren't. Other animals aren't. To discount our uniqueness within the creation is to discount the way the Bible is written.
And to allude to some idea of each species having their own Christ and their own Bible centered on them, while not inherently unreasonable, is completely theoretical and unsubstantiated. There's no reason to think it's true, at least not any more so than to think that "aliens" are just demons.
