My son and I made purchases at 4 different stores at the local mall, 3 of the 4 stores were being run by men from Israel.
The first store was a candy shop with a white girl at the register.
The second store was a lotion, soap and shampoo type store, the man was from Israel. He told me he was from Israel, he said it proudly. He said he had only been in the USA for a few weeks. He told us the lotions we were purchasing was a brand from Israel and was a brand that Mariah Carey created. He tried multiple times to sell us other additional products as we were checking out, offering steep discounts. This is when I realized the items we were purchasing were marked up a couple hundred percent. He did give us a 2 for 1 deal, so I thought I was getting a good offer.
The third store was a man selling wood carvings. They were very nice, the cravings all had a religious orientation. Sculptures of Jesus, last Supper and Nativity scenes. The man said the carvings were made from olive wood. He had a very thick accent. I asked him where he migrated from, he told me he came from Bethlehem.
The fourth store was a perfume shop. The prices today are outrageous. I picked out something for my wife, I let my son choose something for his mother(ex-wife) and I got a bottle of Eternity for my son. He has been wearing something that smells terrible, he needed an upgrade. The man was checking us out and I asked him where he was born, he said he was born in Israel, that will be $340. Also, the man asked us what size bottle of Eternity we wanted, small medium or large. I told him to give us the medium bottle, when we got home I noticed we had the small bottle in the bag, he pulled a switcheroo on us. My son opened the bottle of Eternity and sprayed it himself, it had a heavy smell of alcohol. I'm wondering if it was a knockoff.
So, 3 of the 4 stores we made purchases at were being run by men who migrated here from Israel. Is this a coincidence or have our retail shops been overrun by immigrants from Israel? Is this a nationwide thing? Are retail profits being sucked out of the country and being sent to Israel? This is the first time I have purchased anything from the mall in many years.
I was just throwing my experience at the group, wondering if anyone else had the same experience.
EDIT: Also, a couple related stories, DTE sent tree trimming crews to our neighborhood few months ago. They wanted access to my backyard to trim some trees. There was a spokesperson with them who was doing all the talking. I approached them while they were in my backyard to ask if they could cut down some limbs that were hanging down near the roof of my shed, none of the tree trimming people spoke English.
I had a roof put on my home couple months ago, 8 people showed up one morning to start working, none of them spoke English. They also had a spokeswoman who I had to address any concerns with.
The tree trimmers and roofers were Hispanic, straight from the southern border doing the jobs we Americans don't want to do, or so they claim. Cheap labor, this stuff needs to stop.
They also think that "older" women can't smell scents as well as they used to - and there is something to that. I'm not sure about the science behind it, although I am sure I read that somewhere in the past - but it is evident if you go to a church with women up into their 80s and 90s.
It seems as they hit their 80s they start to really use a ton of the perfume. I notice it because I have issues with certain scents and start to sneeze or get headaches. Just like I can always tell if my wife is trying to sneak a new air freshener into the house.

This is interesting because I really don’t like any perfume. I get headaches from it as well, so if I have anything, it’s more like a light fruity body spray, but I don’t like anything that’s musky.
I have noticed when I’m out shopping, many women, especially older ones, but a lot of fragrance on. Some of it is so disgusting, I want to vomit in my mouth when I smell it.
The only way I can describe it, is it smells like mother 😂🤣. It’s just gross. I also think that as women get older, they have a sort of a body odor or a change in their body, where the perfume doesn’t smell the same.
Probably described in your link. I’ll check it out.
