As of Dec. 20, 2023, masking is required at UPMC medical facilities, including hospitals, doctor's offices, and other patient care locations.

What to Know About UPMC’s Updated Mask Policy in December 2023.

As of Dec. 20, 2023, masking is required for patients, support persons, visitors, employees, and all others in UPMC medical facilities.

I contacted them and asked for a peer review study on the efficacy of masks.
