I've got an old poker buddy around 30yrs ago was up for captain at the Fire Dept in a large city,his test results were among the highest grade's in his precinct,he was really excited one friday night we were playing poker,it was usually around 8 of us that played in my garage/mancave every friday night,we were all really happy for him and hoping he would get the job,it was a lot more money,we'll the next friday night he came in really pissed and didn't get the captain's position and said a black guy with lower test grades got the job ,he quit later that year.
