the linking of this issue (Ed: the border) to the question of Ukraine aid and also Israel aid is a result of the populist instincts of a small number of Republican Congress folks who have no idea of how important defeating Russia in Ukraine is to American interests

Oh I think they know.

Something, something, the laundromat, MIC, the president making lots of money. That sort of think. That's the American interest: stealing money from ordinary folks to make SOME people really rich.
