The amount of astroturfing across Reddit was almost measurable, and the percentage is significantly higher than 15%.
There's corporate shilling, political shilling, direct advertisement posts disguised as content, upvote and downvote bots to push content up or down.
Terrible site. Only useful for a few hobbies and a plethora of better tech support than you get from search engines on the likes of Microsoft forums.
If I need an answer for troubleshooting something that is particularly vexing, adding Reddit to the end of my search is the way to get the correct answer or at least an answer pointing a different direction.
For casual conversation? "Surfing" the subreddits? It's nowhere near what it uses to be, and everyone is angry at the world there to boot.
