Didn't even know what a PCR "test" was before Covid. But just looking at the results for the same patient varying up and down over short time intervals should be enough to convince anyone that it is worthless.

Had a bit of a spat with my neighbor when I bad mouthed them. Her hackles went up as she asked, "Do you know who you're talking to?" She apparently ran a state medical lab where they did PCR tests all the time. Making her an expert I guess.

My only answer was, "It doesn't matter. The noble prize winning inventor said his PCR manufacturing technique could not be used for diagnostics. End of story." Haven't talked with her since.

So yes, fucked up world indeed.

I realised a lot that turned my idea of science around a bit, but I've retaught myself to correct for some of their deceptions.

Makes me angry, but fascinates me as well. I mean, now there is so much more of the world to explore than I thought. It's sort of like being a child again, full of wonder and awe: virology, medicine, health, diet, relativity, nuclear energy, space exploration, law, history, and on and on.

So many rabbit holes, and so little time, but kind of exciting. I will never be an expert in any of those fields, but I might uncover enough contradictions to allow me to jettison a few of them.
