Is it not good to deal justly with the guilty while pardoning the innocent and showing grace and mercy where possible?
Or is it better to throw out the biggest umbrella we can and just dragnet everyone? No stone unturned!
See who that leaves standing. Not many, if any. Historically, it’s tended to be the best way for the corrupt to take control of the gallows and kill off the innocent who were in their way.
