Wading through the information to find actual truth is a big job. Personally, I think the best way forward is to trust in God, develop your own working hypotheses, and do the best one can. Translate those into practical actions.
On a practical level, to me personally, the existence of, or isolation of, the c19 is not an issue, as my choices would not be different one way or the other.
But I did notice that I had accepted the 'never isolated' narrative out of hand, bases on my own biases and thinking, but later, when I dug into it, I came away thinking that I'd not really taken the effort to check, verify, and that I found content that caused me to question my original position (and reflect on why I adopted it).
