I used to think this was the case, too. In fact, if you dig into it, it's apparently been isolated numerous times. The 'never isolated' looks like a bit of disinfo injected into the truth stream that caught traction because it plays to our biases.
There are a lot of fake info around the whole thing, obviously, meaning lies, untruths, and propaganda spouted by msm outlets, etc., but our side isn't immune to being trolled or becoming attached to certain narratives because they play to our biases.
If I recall correctly, the 'never isolated' narrative jumped off when certain individuals put in FOI requests regarding the so-called virus to govt authorities that were spouting certain assertions as the reasons for lockdowns and other measures. When the FOIs came back negative, this was taken as 'proof' that in fact, no isolation had ever taken place.
It's not easy to filter out the fake and the disinfo, because the whole information sphere is awash with it these days. It takes a willingness to recognize one's own biases, to investigate, and not believe narratives without our own verification efforts, regardless of which side the narrative comes from.
I have a medical scientist in my familyover 40 years . In the entire time thing's happened, their lab has been told repeatedly there is no isolated virus. So somebody is lieing which is no surprise. None of our family took the jab.

Wading through the information to find actual truth is a big job. Personally, I think the best way forward is to trust in God, develop your own working hypotheses, and do the best one can. Translate those into practical actions.
On a practical level, to me personally, the existence of, or isolation of, the c19 is not an issue, as my choices would not be different one way or the other.
