Maybe this is a minority opinion, but I'll say it anyway - there's a reason our ancestors took centuries to give women the vote.

I'm not saying all women are undeserving of suffrage, but it's become apparent that a good many can't be trusted with self-governance and since there's no real way to tell the good from the bad, it's likely our ancestors reasoned that depriving the few, as bad as that was, was far better than what happens when you allow all of them, as we've finally figured out too late.
I knew and old fellow (older than I am kek) whose philosophy was America went to shit when women were given the right to vote and the pill was invented.
