I definitely didn't explain myself very well. I was comparing the idea of "the man behind the curtain" with the painting of Trump in front of another painting of a curtain that alluded to something more being behind it.
The Wizard of Oz has the moment where the curtain is pulled back and we can finally see who is pulling the strings.
I thought that the symbolism of that element combined with the timing (everything starting to accelerate and pieces starting to come together) was significant.
