talking with a trans person and playing along with their gender "transition" must be like going to a child's tea party. There is no tea in the toy pot, they are not pouring anything into the cup, but we politely take the cup and sip from it and say, "oh this tea is so good". At least the child is delighted and knows that it is pretend, and loves that you play along. I pity most of them, stuck in make believe land as full grown adults.
